I think the reason it looks so real is the simple subject matter (as you see
from the model, there isnt really much to it) and the texture, lighting &
focal blur which in this instance make the scene work.

After doing this the first time round I pretty much decided that where ever
possable (for 'real world' objects) I would use 'real world' texture maps
and a flat bed scanner seems the best tool for getting them where ever
possable.

Oh, and focal blur hides a multitude of sins, really brings new meaning to
the term 'if you wont see it, dont model it!' well worth the increased
render time.

On a final note, I wouldn't have fancied doing this without Moray, without
which positioning all those little blocks for the mounted components would
have taken significantly longer.
